Single Component Thermal Acoustic Felt

Thermal conductivity ranges from 0.035 to 0.042 W/(m·K). The long-term service-temperature range is -40°C to +80°C, and the material does not melt during short-term exposure to 120°C.

Dimensional shrinkage is no more than 0.3% within the -40°C to +80°C range. Compression recovery is at least 85%, allowing the material to recover most of its original thickness after transportation or installation pressure.

The volume water absorption of the water-repellent grade is below 1.5%, and the mold-resistance rating is Grade 0.

This structure is suitable for basements, humid southern regions, marine interiors, and equipment spaces where condensation may occur. After becoming wet, the material can drain and dry naturally. Its shape is not easily changed, and short-term moisture exposure does not cause an obvious reduction in sound absorption.

Single Component Thermal Acoustic Felt can meet the GB 8624-2012 B1 flame-retardant level for projects with higher fire-performance requirements.

When exposed to fire, the surface carbonizes without producing molten droplets. The material does not continue to spread the flame and can self-extinguish after the ignition source is removed. Its oxygen index is at least 32%, and the smoke-toxicity rating is safety grade t1.

Wall and ceiling filling applications can use a thickness of 25–50 mm. A 25–50 mm B1 flame-retardant grade can also be selected for marine bulkheads and ceilings.

For stronger sound absorption, buyers may select a 50 mm product with a density of 32–48 kg/m³. A rear air gap of 30–100 mm can be used where improved low-frequency performance is required.

Thickness can be customized from 1 to 200 mm, and width can be adjusted from 0.5 to 2.5 m.

Packaging for rolls, pre-cut materials, or compressed products can be adjusted according to transportation distance and the required thickness recovery after unpacking.
